World Bank DataBank
Follow these instructions to download data from World Bank DataBank in a tabular format that’s easier to work in R. After selecting the Database, Country, Time, and Series options, follow these steps:
1. Click Layout
2. Set the orientation of Time, Country and Series according to the table below:

3. Click Apply Changes
4. Click Download Options
5. Click Advanced Options
6. Click CSV
7. Set Variable Format to Codes Only
8. Set NA Preference to Blank
